The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has partnered with UEFA to quantify the incredible effort volunteers invest in the development of football week in and week out in every community across Ireland. The UEFA GROW Social Return on Investment (SROI) model provides, the FAI, its affiliates, Leagues, Clubs as well as key stakeholders with unique tangible evidence that investing in grassroots football at a local and national level has a significant impact in terms of economic value, social & health benefits and elite football performance.
The UEFA GROW SROI team have created a survey to feed into their primary research with football participants in Ireland. The information gathered will be used within the overall model to provide an economic value of grassroots football expenditure – as well as providing significant data to inform the promotion of football and investment in it.
